October 27, 2010 - Bioactive Surgical, Inc. sponsored Johns Hopkins University undergraduate team places third in the 2010 Collegiate Inventors Competition sponsored by the US Patent Office.  The Intelligent Surgical Drill™ addresses a need identified by the company for a drill mounted control system for improving drill accuracy and safety.

January 1, 2010 - The Baltimore Business Journal names Bioactive Surgical , Inc. as one of the "10 startups to watch in 2010"


November 24, 2009 - Bioactive Surgical , Inc. is named the "New/Emerging Technology Company of the Year" by the Howard Technology Council in their Second Annual Technology Awards.  Howard County is a technology growth area at the center of a circle bounded by Johns Hopkins University, the University of Maryland, the Bethesda Naval Research Center and NIH. 


July 21, 2009  - Johns Hopkins University issues press release on a Biomedical Engineering student project to test one version of the Bioactive-Surgical-developed technology for the Stem Cell Suture™. 


June 4, 2009 - Bioactive Surgical, Inc. receives one of twelve 2009 Maryland Nanobiotechnology Research and Industry Competition Grants for its patent pending technology for stem cell binding nanofilms.
